Good Morning America has been raising their ratings. It has opened the 2012-2013 season as the number one viewed morning news program. The show has a total of 4.95million viewers. It also has a total of 1.9 million viewers by adults in between the ages of 25-54. By September the show got a total of 5.0 million views.This article is important because it shows how the rating improved through out the years. I chose this specific article because I sometimes watch this show in the morning when I am getting ready for school. As a student, it teaches that hard work does pay off and to never give up on anything. As a consumer this article gives me feedback on successful shows. If I was a consumer I would like to invest in something that will succeed. Reading this article made me realize that success does no happen right away. You just need to be patient and continue working with what you have. The only question I have is how does it feel to be the No. 1 viewed after all those years?

i think this is so interesting ! Im sure this is not the only show like this . I sometimes watch this show and never really knew this. Its good to know. I have a question, "How long will this show remain like this?"
ReplyDeleteThat's nice that after years they finally hit high ratings. I wonder what they used, trial and error to find what would work for them and their audience? There must be some segments they had to give up in order to be like this over the years. I agree with Laura as well, I wonder how long they'll be able to maintain those ratings.
